116 million TL support for digitalization
The results of KOSGEB’s third call on Digitalization in the Manufacturing Industry have been announced. While 1,075 applications were received for the third call, 278 of the applications were entitled to be supported. In this context, approximately 116 million TL of support will be provided to the 278 enterprises. Within the scope of the program, SMEs will be supported in many areas such as cyber security and virtual reality with IoT, industrial robot and smart sensor technologies in the manufacturing industry.
With the program, enterprises can receive support up to a total of 1 million TL, with a non-refundable amount of up to 300 thousand TL and a refundable amount of up to 700 thousand TL. The support is paid for the purchase of machinery, equipment, services, software and personnel necessary for the realization of the project. KOSGEB can pay 50% of the reimbursed support amount before spending. Meanwhile, SMEs must complete their projects within a minimum of 8 and a maximum of 20 months in order to benefit from this support. IFASTURK Financial Advisory and Auditing Founder Mesut Şenel gave the following information about the process:
“The first call of KOSGEB was made in 2019 and approximately 72 million TL support was provided to 258 SMEs. In the second call, the number of SMEs benefiting from the support reached 396, and 158 million TL of support was distributed. Within the scope of this year’s call, 278 out of 1,075 applications will be supported with a total of 116 million TL. We will be there for SMEs to benefit from the support program fully and efficiently.”
