CIO – ROUNDTABLE: The road to digital leadership…
Turkey’s most rooted corporate technology publication, BThaber Newspaper and the website bthaber.com.tr launched a new “Meeting” event in 2022, when it celebrated its 28th anniversary. The first of these events, where the CIOs of different institutions and organizations discussed different issues, was held on January 20 at Pera Palas with the concept of Tea Time. This event, where the subject of “Digital Leadership” was discussed, was sponsored by Cisco Turkey.
The event, which was moderated by BThaber Publication Coordinator Ayhan Sevgi; hosted İstanbul Metropolitan Municipality CIO Erol Özgüner, Vakıfbank CIO Mehmet Tüm, BiTekDer Board Member Mustafa Dönmez, Intercity IT Director Ethem Topgül, Vakko CIO Tuba Bayraktar, Alliance Healthcare CIO Kaan Marangoz, CIO Gülsün Gönültaş, Bilişim Vadisi CIO Kemal Altıparmak, HSBC CIO Işıl Funda Öney Babacan, Edenred CIO & Executive Committee Member Şirin Aktaş, Unit International CIO Güven Ulaşdemir, İGDAŞ CIO Arcun Tanju, Cisco Turkey Deputy General Manager Nevcihan Matur as speakers.
Giving the opening speech of the event, BTHaber Corporate Group President Murat Göçe noted that this new series of events will continue to be held in different venues under new titles.
After the speeches, the CIOs, who had the tea time in the foyer of Pera Palas, both exchanged information and sang songs together with the 98-year-old pianist and singer İlham Gencer.
