In the second year of its establishment and the first year of its active operations in the Turkish market, Keenetic is expanding its network and the internet access market in Turkey. With its focus on network and internet access in houses and SMEs, Keenetic reached a 40% market share in the online market in the first year. The goal is to reach two hundred thousand users in 2021. ZyXEL Turkey and General Manager Vefa Tarhan, who served 10 years in the brand’s Turkey branch, has signed a new venture in 2018. Tarhan designed a brand for the modem market considering end-user needs with colleagues from the global sector and focused primarily on the online market. Vefa Tarhan explained the strategy and goals of the Keenetic as:
“In our day and age, products of every brand cannot fit in the retail and online platforms have turned into a huge store. Internet infrastructure, software, innovations in visual content and artificial intelligence have also contributed to this development. In retail, it is no longer possible to make room for new products easily; they usually go on with certain old brands. Slowness in solution renewing is a common problem. We do not consider being in retail for now. However, some users may have requests to see the product, negotiate and buy it instantly. We will meet these demands with a partner dealer program that sells all our products that we will follow closely and keeps stocks. We are a modem-router brand that sells the most products online. Our customer profile consists of a highly conscious researcher who can choose their own product. In order to be successful in such an environment, you must always keep the quality at the top and make your price competitive. We have developed the Partner Reseller Program in Turkey, taking into account all the shopping behavior to meet the consulting needs of some users and SMEs. Our products are accessible to our -over four thousand- resellers which are Turkey’s most established distributors located all over Turkey. In addition, we form our partners in every city that we are constantly in touch, support with regular trainings and announce on our website.”
