Cyber Security Portal was launched by EBA

The ‘Cyber Security Portal’ was created at the Education Informatics Network (EBA) of the Ministry of National Education. It will work as a guide for teachers, families, experts and students.

The Ministry of National Education prepared a new portal under the umbrella of Education Informatics Network (EBA) in order to raise awareness among children and young people about the internet traps such as ‘Blue Whale’ and ‘Momo’ as well as malicious people and software on digital platforms. Minister of National Education Ziya Selçuk warned that if the digital world is considered as a problem, the trends of our era will be missed. In this respect, an important step was taken by the Ministry of National Education and a ‘Cyber Security Portal’ was created in the Education Informatics Network (EBA).

Children will raise awareness while having fun

Cyber Security Portal, which is accessible at www.eba.gov.tr/siber-guvenlik, includes many topics such as safe internet, gaming addiction, correct use of technology, cyber bullying, animations and colorful infographics that can appeal to children. The cyber security game aims to raise the target audience with fun content against the dangers in the digital world. In the Cyber Security Portal, the points to be taken into account for the protection of personal information, warnings for viruses and spyware, the measures that can be taken to keep the Internet safe and fun, what can be done when a threat arises, are told in a fun way.
