Digitopia receives its first investment to become a world standard
Digitopia, a digital transformation consultancy company that has just completed its first year with its experienced founders who has been in the sector for 30 years, has received its first investment over a multi-million USD valuation to expand its “Digital Maturity Index” (DMI) service abroad and make it a world standard.
Digitopia, moving its headquarters to London right after its establishment, added a new dimension to management consultancy. Digitopia, which can determine the digital maturity level of companies of all sizes, has realized the digitalization of consultancy by transforming its superior industrial and systemic perspective into a digital platform.
Digitopia received its first investment by Ahmet Bilgen, founder and successful technology entrepreneur of Foriba, one of the angel investors who have been following the company closely since its establishment.
Ahmet Bilgen explained his views on the investment in Digitopia as: “It is a great vision to turn consulting business into digital. I know the founders. Their team is very successful. I was impressed to hear that they wanted to carry out their business all around the world. Actualizing the consultancy business with software as much as possible will give them a serious speed and growth. Since digital transformation is on the agenda of every company in every sector, there is a huge market in front of them. It will be enjoyable for me to support their growth adventure. I hope that we will be very successful together and write success stories in different parts of the world.”
one of the founding partners of Digitopia, Kağan Şahin evaluated the investment made by Ahmet Bilgen as: “It is quite unusual to get investment as a consultancy company, especially at such an early stage. We thank Ahmet Bilgen for believing and trusting in our vision. By 2021, we plan to expand to Europe, then the Middle East and then more distant lands via London. This investment will add strength to our power and increase our speed.”
Halil Aksu, one of the founding partners of Digitopia, expressed his thoughts about the investment made by Ahmet Bilgen as: “We always think about digital transformation. This has almost become our passion. It makes us very happy and honored to add value to our customers and see them progress in their digital transformation journey. Doing this worldwide will be a great experience and success.”
