Fujitsu renewed channel trainings
While Fujitsu facilitates the SELECT channel partner accreditation process, it focuses more on a ‘partner’ centered training system. The updated program aims to enable the end users to develop their future skills to meet their changing demands by removing the expiry dates of the “Expert Status” and focusing on the individual needs of business partners. The Fujitsu SELECT Partner program is designed to help IT vendors acquire the new skills needed to support channel partners and customers’ digital transformation as they move to full-fledged trusted technology consultants. The latest update in the program’s accreditation aims to ensure that each partner gets the support and training they need to succeed.
The expiry dates for SELECT Expert accreditation under the latest SELECT program have been removed. This means that each SELECT certificate will remain valid until the curriculum is updated. Among the benefits listed for business partners, the elimination of repeated training and the opportunity to develop teams according to future focus areas were considered. At the center of this updated approach is the newly created “business partner-centered training”. This will give carefully selected partners the skills necessary to adopt a solution-based sales approach and act as digital trusted consultants. The program includes all SELECT Circle partners to develop an individual, customized training plan with Fujitsu. This plan is designed to meet a partner’s specific business priorities and aims to achieve accreditation in portfolio areas such as hybrid cloud, hyperconverged infrastructure or data protection, as well as in areas such as artificial intelligence, IoT and vertical markets. The program involves each SELECT Circle associate member developing an individual, customized training plan with Fujitsu. Trainings created for all SELECT channel partners are provided through Fujitsu SELECT Academy. In the training program, both live and on-demand online learning options are offered to cover the topics in a broad way. In addition, the TechCommunity platform plans to offer weekly reviews on technical issues, as well as a series of sales-focused webinars.
