‘Innovation center model’ is brought to dealers
Schneider Electric opens special areas where its innovative technologies can be experienced. Thus, the internationally exemplary capabilities of Schneider Electric Istanbul Innovation Center are being carried to different regions. Schneider Electric Medium Voltage dealers will share innovative solutions with industry experts in 4 different locations in İstanbul, Kocaeli, Ankara and Gaziantep in the first phase. The company’s innovative, sustainability and digitalization-focused products will be open to experience in the prepared demo areas. Thus, visitors will experience first-hand the benefits of these technologies for their own activities and will be able to create digitalization road plans with the expert teams of Schneider Electric business partners.
Stating that their goal is to make innovative solutions much more accessible and thus accelerate Turkey’s digitalization journey, Schneider Electric Power Systems Deputy General Manager Mehmet Özalp said: “Our new generation “Partner Hub” areas are a reflection of our İstanbul Ataşehir Innovation Center, which is the first in its field and serves as a laboratory for experts, students and academics. Thanks to the sensors and software in our SM6-36 “Enabled” and “Enabled Plus” solutions, our users can detect potential malfunctions in their systems in advance with predictive maintenance methods. Thus, we support our visitors to ensure energy sustainability and carry their businesses into the future by maximizing the continuity and efficiency of their facilities. Simultaneously, we are accelerating Turkey’s development focused on sustainability and digitalization.”
The stores, which have been or will be implemented in cooperation with Schneider Electric Power Systems business unit and company dealers Anel, KVK, Tümkar and Vekmar, offer a special experience to visitors with their demo areas. In these areas, the remote monitoring and manageability features of the Schneider Electric SM6-36 Medium Voltage Switchgear are demonstrated in practice. Demo areas also serve as practical training areas for sales representatives and contribute to sectoral development.
EcoStruxure Power architecture developed by Schneider Electric allows users to be warned and precautions taken before malfunctions occur. Within the scope of this efficient operating system, Schneider Electric supports its customers with different solutions, including Enabled, Enabled Plus, Power Monitoring Expert (PME) and artificial intelligence-supported EcoStruxure Asset Advisor (EAA). It becomes possible to examine EcoStruxure Power solutions end-to-end in the opened new generation “Partner Hub” areas.
Efficiency and safety in power systems
With Schneider Electric’s basic Enabled solution, temperature sensors are offered as standard at cable connection points. Then, cable connection quality throughout the entire system can be monitored instantly with Easergy Thermal Connect and NFC applications installed on smartphones. The Enabled Plus solution, which has an architecture open to SCADA connection, provides continuous monitoring by collecting real-time information. By monitoring temperature, ambient data and circuit breaker, unplanned downtime is reduced and remote alarm functions can be installed to optimize maintenance costs. Thanks to the HMI screen on the panel, the data collected from the sensors can be monitored. Additionally, the panel status can be monitored via a single digital line and this process can be controlled with SMS smart alarms. Thus, it becomes possible to manage cutting operations remotely.
Power Monitoring Expert (PME) provides full access to operation and health information about the system, thanks to the information it receives from the METSEP energy analyzer and ION energy quality analyzer. It allows instant measurements taken from the business to be displayed in graphic formats from a web-based interface. It increases the energy efficiency of businesses thanks to the reports and insights obtained.
Ecostruxure Asset Advisor (EAA) helps users get recommendations by remotely monitoring critical assets in facilities. Schneider Electric provides live data and analysis on energy consumption by examining the data collected on the cloud platform with artificial intelligence. It offers access to obsolescence information and generates monthly reports. It helps users create a predictive approach and plan maintenance preventively. In this way, it helps users identify potential risks in advance and provides full visibility to the facilities. At the same time, it ensures energy sustainability by maximizing the safety of employees, continuity and efficiency of the facility.
