Innovation received its awards

The 18th of TESİD Innovation and Creativity Awards, organized to encourage innovation in the electronics industry, was held this year. A total of eight technology companies received awards, three in each of the large company and SME categories, one in the TESİD 30th Year Special Award and one in the Special Jury Award. In the panel held within the scope of the ceremony, the domestic electronics industry was handled towards smart life. Making the opening speech, TESİD President C. Müjdat Altay said that: “If we combine the support and R&D provided in our country with a strategic plan and appropriate ecosystem, innovation can be accelerated. In this process, along with the importance of the electronics industry, how much importance should be attached to the development of the domestic electronics industry of all countries came to the fore. Therefore, Turkey now have to give more importance to the electronics industry than ever.” Prior to the ceremony, the panel titled “Local Electronics Industry Towards Smart Life” was organized with the moderation of Hakan Güldağ, Dünya Newspaper Chairman of the Board. TESİD President and Netaş CEO C. Müjdat Altay, TESİD Board Member and Entes Chairman Faik Erem, TESİD Board Member and Havelsan General Manager Ahmet Hamdi Atalay, TESİD Board Member and Karel CTO Yaman Tunaoğlu attended to the panel.

Eight technology companies received awards from the large company, SME, TESİD 30th Year Special Award and Jury Special Award categories with their creative ideas. In the large company section, Karel received an award in the Innovative Product category for continuous monitoring and analysis of the effects of the drugs used by MS and Parkinson patients, while Luna in the Commercialization of Innovation category with digital water meter and Havelsan won the award in the Product Development Process with Mars. In the SME section, Kron won an award in the Innovative Product category with Single Monitor, Letta Serciar in the Creative Idea category and Asis received an award in the Product Development Process category with the Self-Service Kiosk. Takosan received the TESİD 30th Anniversary Award with its innovative dashboard design for heavy commercial vehicles and the Jury Special Award went to NanoMagnetic Scientific Devices with ezAFM + compact atomic force microscope.
