Microsoft and SAP joined forces for the cloud
The global cooperation between Microsoft and SAP gained a new dimension. Microsoft Turkey General Manager Murat Kansu and SAP Turkey General Manager Uğur Candan hosted the “More the Merrier’ meeting on February 28 in İstanbul and gave details on the “Embrace Project” that is to strengthen Turkey’s digital transformation journey.
SAP S/4HANA and SAP Cloud Platform will be able to easily work on Microsoft Azure with the new collaboration “Embrace Project” that will strengthen the digital transformation of organizations using cloud in today’s business world that requires compatibility and speed.
With this cooperation, it is aimed that SAP ERP (enterprise resource planning) application and SAP S/4HANA customers will move from the established structure to the general cloud more easily. Within the framework of this collaboration that will simplify the companies’ cloud journey, Microsoft will sell the SAP Cloud Platform components together with Azure. With the “Embrace Project”, which is planned to accelerate companies and provide cost advantages in the fields of adaptation, synergy, productivity and efficiency, it will be a first in cloud computing.
The event started with the opening speech of SAP Turkey General Manager Uğur Candan and Microsoft Turkey General Manager Murat Kansu. The event hosted Microsoft Turkey Deputy General Director in charge of Corporate Customers Murat Yılmaz, SAP Turkey Deputy General Manager Bülent Karal, Microsoft Middle East and Africa Strategic Partnership Director Ömer Koç, Microsoft Turkey Digital Transformation Architect Alp Esmer and Microsoft Turkey Sales Manager Responsible for SAP Selen Burgaz as speakers. The event addressed the cooperation’s contribution to the growth of the cloud ecosystem and the transformation of companies into smart businesses.
