Retail industry grows with new technologies
IT Retail Sector Technology Event was held on 21 May by BThaber under the sponsorship of iCredible and TÜRKKEP. The main topics of the meeting were BlockChain and e-Signature technologies.
The opening speech of the event was made by IT Retail Chairperson Çağlar Yılmaz. He said that: “In this period, everything has been moved to digital. We carried out all our works online. When we get through this process, there will be innovations brought to us just like KVKK. Covid-19 accelerated digitalization in companies. When we brought up the contactless payment topic before Covid-19, they said “Why is it needed now? Our customers would not use it.” Now when we look at it today, we see that many companies have put it on the agenda before they even get back to work.
We see that all the staff had problems connecting to the server while connecting to the center from the outside, which, as we explained, revealed the need for the Cloud system once again. With the transition of shopping to the online system, new secure payment methods were sought. It seems like there will be many innovations that Covid-19 will bring to us, it is not possible to avoid this. Our life will be changing in this context.”
According to the information provided by iCredible Technology Founder Mustafa El-Aliwat, iCredible Technology products are divided into three categories: Know Your Customer, DILARA (Smart Contract Designer) and DOQU Man. DILARA is the design tool that allows you to visually create your “Smart Contracts” on a workflow and convert it to the code of the desired Blockchain platform (Ethereum, Hyperladger Fabric, EOS, Corda).
