Roads will always cross in the digital transformation journey with alumni

SAP Turkey and the Turkish Red Crescent have signed an important cooperation to equip the young people with skills required for the digital 21st century. With the “Qualified Informatics Personnel Training Program”, nearly 100 young people participated in SAP trainings and successfully graduated from the program. It is aimed to employ these young people in SAP customers or business partners.

SAP Turkey and the Turkish Red Crescent actualized the “Qualified Informatics Personnel Training Program” to reach the 2023 targets of our country in order to educate qualified labor force for the ICT sector. The program aims to equip young people with the skills required by the digital economy and to contribute to the talent needs that arise in institutions with digital transformation. Within the scope of the project carried out by the “Turkish Red Crescent Community Based Migration Programs Livelihood Development Program”, 4 trainings have been completed in İstanbul and Ankara and nearly 100 young people have graduated. Within the scope of the first two programs, trainings on the programming language of SAP – ABAP in Ankara and on the management of the infrastructure of SAP systems (BASIS) in Istanbul were held. 50 young people who successfully completed the first two programs received their SAP certificates and 27 young people started working in various companies. Within the scope of the 3rd and 4th programs completed in the past days, the young people received training in the Cost Accounting module in İstanbul and the Financial Accounting module in Ankara. New graduates who successfully complete the programs will start their career journeys as SAP Consultants.
