Role of Powerful and Reliable Technologies in Digital Transformation
As digital transformation continues to rapidly transform the business world, many organizations are focused on software and cloud solutions. The importance of infrastructure cannot be denied in this dynamic process. One of the factors that enable company executives to not feel anxious during the heaviest storms is trust in the infrastructure. Insufficiency of hardware and infrastructure can also lead to inadequacy of software and cloud solutions. The need for powerful processors and robust data storage solutions; it is increasing day by day to accelerate business processes, protect critical data and maintain operational continuity. At this point, energy efficient, cost-effective and reliable technologies have become one of the key factors that enable institutions to be successful in their digital transformation.
At the BThaber CxO Roundtable Meeting titled “The Role of Powerful and Reliable Technologies in Digital Transformation”, where the role of hardware and infrastructure in digital transformation was discussed; it was also discussed how ready the modern business world is for these critical elements and what kind of a basis they provide for future projects. JForce General Manager Atakan Coşkun, who made the opening speech of the event held in TRNC with the participation of technology leaders of Turkey’s leading organizations under the sponsorship of IBM and JForce, said:
“As JFORCE Information Technologies, we have been contributing to Turkey’s digital transformation since 2003 with our products and services in the fields of technological hardware, communication and security. Being a pioneer in Java technologies, we develop value-added projects. We are currently among the top providers of IBM business automation and integration solutions in the EMEA region. Our main focus is business agility, but this only happens if hyper-automation is supported by cognitive technologies. Thus, it increases efficiency and process effectiveness in every project we offer. It always guarantees customer satisfaction thanks to harmonious excellence achieved through quality processes. We owe our success not only to smart technologies, but also to excellent customer service that constantly exceeds expectations. We believe in long-term partnerships with our customers that only come true when we share their success. Innovation, creativity and reliability stand out as our features that distinguish us from others. As for our strongest muscles, I would say Automation, Integration, Data Center and Artificial Intelligence.”
Speaking after the technology leaders participating in the event expressed their opinions on the subject, IBM Infrastructure Technical Sales Country Manager Akın Şakarcan gave the following information:
“In the age of artificial intelligence, we are now talking about productive artificial intelligence. Generative artificial intelligence, which replaces traditional artificial intelligence with machine learning, deep learning, neural networks and data-oriented approaches, stands out with its real-time decision-making ability. According to a survey of more than 3.000 CEOs across 24 industries in more than 30 countries by the IBM Institute for Business Value, 75% of CEOs think AI will bring a competitive advantage to their companies. 80% of stakeholders are putting pressure on accelerating the adoption of productive AI. CEOs see tremendous potential in generative AI, but other executives have limited confidence in corporate readiness. 61% of CEOs express concerns about the data sources used in generative AI. While the most important CEO priorities stand out as productivity and technical modernization, the biggest challenges are stated as sustainability and cyber security.
IBM, which determines its business strategy around artificial intelligence and hybrid multi-cloud, reveals what developments will occur in the artificial intelligence road map in the next 10 years and beyond within the scope of the ‘IBM Technology Atlas’ published. These developments that are starting to take place also change the approaches to all infrastructures. Within the scope of this development, architectural structures began to take shape according to the strategies and business styles of the companies. Today, the arrival of artificial intelligence is inevitable and we all need to be prepared for this development. By investing in both its hardware and software portfolio with this vision, IBM brings its customers a range of products, solutions and services in areas such as artificial intelligence, cyber security, server and data storage.”
