Steps are taken for the quantum journey…
This year, 20th ICT Summit, which took place digitally on Wednesday, November 25 with the theme of “QUANTUM JOURNEY”, brought together technology, informatics, business and public world. “Quantum Technology”, which countries are preparing for it as a new force in competition and will shape the next 30 years, was discussed with opinion leaders from all over the world. Boğaziçi University Computer Science Professor Cem Say, Canada Wilfrid Laurier University Professor of Physics and Computer Science, Quantum Physicist and TED speaker Dr. Shohini Ghose and Dell Technologies EMEA CTO Marc O’Regan presented a new vision to the participants as keynote speakers along with many expert speakers.
“Quantum Technology”, which will give a new meaning to data science, reshape all stages of business and social life from health to finance, production and transportation and countries continue to get ready for it as a new force in competition, was brought to the agenda at the 20th ICT Summit this year. The ICT Summit, which hosted the world’s predominant names on the subject, was held this year under the main sponsorship of Dell Technologies and SAP. It was also supported by organizations such as ICANN, Turkcell, Trendyol, Fortinet, Papara, Cisco, Bilişim AŞ, Glasshouse, Knowledge Club, Netaş and NetBT.
While Presidency Economic Policies Board Member Dr. Hakan Yurdakul made his presentation titled “The Concept of Quantum in Business Ecosystem”, Ministry of Industry and Technology, Deputy Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır shared information on “Technology in Turkey”. Presidency Digital Transformation Office President of Dr. Ali Taha Koç put forward the approach to the inevitable “Quantum Journey” under the title of “Digital Future”. Transport and Communications Deputy Minister Ömer Fatih Sayan also made a speech at the opening of the summit.
