Micro Focus acquired the Turkish security company ATAR Labs. In line with ATAR Labs’ position in the cyber security market, Micro Focus adds the company’s solutions to its comprehensive portfolio of cyber security solutions. ATAR Labs’ advanced security solution brings with it the core capabilities that enable automated repetition of events, improved security analysis efficiency and comprehensive Security Operations Center (SOC) analysis, including SLA, workload and return on investment analysis. Combining Security Management, Automation and Response (SOAR) with existing ArcSight threat detection capabilities with this acquisition, Micro Focus will offer integrated options that automate response activities, reduce exposure time to threats and increase efficiency of SecOps teams. The agreement will bring the opportunities with it to develop the software and product development market in Turkey. Micro Focus will continue the activities of research and development laboratories in Turkey.
