Target is domestic and national 5G

ULAK Communications, which points out the importance of responding to hardware and software needs with domestic and national means on the way to 5G technology, aims to complete its preparations with industrial organizations and operators, reduce external dependency and switch to 5G with domestic equipment as much as possible. ULAK Communications continues to provide service with nearly 3 thousand 4.5G base stations in every part of Turkey, allowing users to experience faster data transmission and uninterrupted communication.

ULAK Communications contributes to our country’s digital transformation process by expanding the coverage area by making the domestic and national 4.5G base station installed on fixed poles portable. With the Portable Base Station solution developed for disaster and emergency scenarios, it provides integration with different vehicles and provides fast service in regions where it is needed. Within the scope of its ongoing 5G development studies, ULAK Communications, which aims to transition the current 4.5G infrastructure to 5G in the most efficient way, has started 5G outdoor and indoor field trials and achieved high speed results in the air interface. 4T4R radio products are being manufactured in operator commercial fields to be compatible with 5G. At the same time, radio developments continue in massive MIMO technology, one of the most challenging technologies of 5G. While ULAK Communications’ 4.5G + 5G base station (NSA mode) field tests continue, it is preparing to start field trials in closed circuit private networks (Mobile Private Network) with only 5G (SA mode) base station in the near future.
