The number of artificial intelligence startups increases

The TRAI Initiatives Map (January 2022) of the Turkey Artificial Intelligence Initiative (TRAI), which was established to increase awareness of artificial intelligence in Turkey and develop its ecosystem, has been published. Accordingly; there are 226 startups working in the fields of image processing, foresight and data analytics, search assistant and search engine, natural language processing, chatbot-dialogue artificial intelligence, machine learning, optimization, autonomous vehicles, robotic process automation (RPA) and smart platforms and the internet of things. Meanwhile, the Turkish Artificial Intelligence Initiative ecosystem also showed a significant growth in the process where the entrepreneurship ecosystem developed and artificial intelligence studies gained momentum. This figure is steadily increasing in the Initiatives Map of the Turkey Artificial Intelligence Initiative, which completed its 2017 year with 24 startups. In this context, with the addition of 20 startups, primarily in the “Foresight and Data Analytics” category, in the last three months, the number of startups in the TRAI Startups Map has reached 226.
