Turkish market produces and also exports value

SAP Turkey continues to work towards sustainable development of Turkey for 20 years. SAP brought together the technology and digital transformation projects with added value it offers to companies in SAP Turkey Economic and Social Contribution Report. Giving information about the report, SAP Turkey General Manager Uğur Candan stated that: “We support more than 1.400 organizations in Turkey to carry out all end-to-end business processes in the best way and ensure that they are ready for the future now. One of SAP’s Software Development Centers located in only 20 countries operates in Teknopark İstanbul since 2013. the important components of SAP’s big data solutions including artificial intelligence and machine learning are developed by Turkish engineers in this center and exported from Turkey to the entire world to take part in SAP’s global product. Through the SAP Experience Center we opened in Software Development Center in 2019, we offer the opportunity to experience our most innovative solutions with the best customer scenarios and examples from Turkey and the world. With this report, we wanted to demonstrate the contributions of our investment in Turkey in a concrete way.” Candan added:

“We create a large ecosystem in Turkey with over 60 thousand local and global partner that involve over 5 thousand consultants. 72% of our partners do not only carry out business in Turkey, but also around the world, doing projects and providing consultancy services. This shows that we transfer knowledge and expertise outside the borders of Turkey, thanks to the competence and expertise of our ecosystem. The SAP projects of our business partners implemented in Turkey reached approximately 3.5 billion worth of commerce for the last 5 years. Our business partners also export the software they develop in their R&D centers integrated with SAP solutions or on the SAP Cloud Platform to different parts of the world. This contributes to Turkey being a technology producing country.”
