Because of changes in Oracle licensing rules and complex structures in license agreements, there may be many incompatibilities and deficiencies that may occur in businesses. Many businesses may be unknowingly and unwillingly at risk of a major license mismatch. The question to be asked here is actually how ready businesses are for a possible Oracle license check.

Oracle ULA is a special agreement designed for Oracle software licenses. Businesses that have Oracle ULA also have unlimited right to use software licenses under the agreement during the term of the agreement. Oracle ULA certification takes place at the end of Oracle ULA, which is usually done for 2-3 years. In fact, businesses have three options on the Oracle ULA end date. The first is to continue by renewing, the second is to continue by enlarging the previous agreement, the third to terminate, namely ULA certification. My opinion is that many businesses in our country do not know much about the third option. They may even be unaware of its existence. Actually, I see the need right at this point. I think many businesses can save millions of liras by not renewing ULA and performing certification. There are many examples of this abroad. When they want to certify, it is very difficult for them to meet the obstacles they face without a professional independent Oracle licensing expert. I do not want to be misunderstood, it can be really logical to renew the deal for some businesses, but in this case they need to make sure they perform the renewal with the best conditions.
